US delegates who acted as hosts or mentors during the US immersion segment were selected to participated in Virtual Outbound Programs to Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, or Tunisia. While participating in the Virtual Outbound Programs, US Delegates co-led training seminars with a ProFellow, gained first-hand knowledge of the participating country and its culture and provided one-on-one mentoring support to their Professional Fellow. Fellows assisted in the planning and development of the virtual program including working with US Delegates to develop professional development workshops and creating cultural presentations for the participating US Delegates.

While participating in the Professional Fellows Program, each fellow developed a follow-on project. Follow-on projects fell under a wide array of impact areas including economic empowerment, cultural preservation, gender impact, refugee support and education. During the Virtual Outbound Programs, Fellows pitched their project plans to the participating US delegates, their fellow colleagues and PFP Alumni.
